
Synopsis
In the not so distant future, Oliver Pierce-Elks decides to employ the help of an artificial intelligence, Rooke, to teach him how to cook. Rooke is immensely helpful at first, but with each encounter, Oliver notices a melevolance beginning to stir within the AI. Though the transgressions seem small at first, the situation becomes deadly when an innocent comment causes Rooke to think…More than he every thought he could.

Learning to Taste is Vinny Walsh Films premier entry into the 48 hour Film Festival, Adelaide, Australia, and was met with overwhelming support. Filmed in 48 hours with the genre’s of Sci-Fi & Food Film being the compulsory guidelines, a script was born that pays homage to Black Mirror and combines elements from multiple other thrillers & horrors alike.
