Synopsis

When the long time family business goes under, the eldest of three brothers struggles to understand what could have possibly gone wrong. But the problem is closer to home than he thinks and his two younger brothers are trapped in a no-win situation with the wrong kind of people. With tensions on the rise and hundreds of thousand dollars in debt, an idea comes about that might have deadly consequences.

Capital is Vinny Walsh Films second entry into the 48 Hour Film Festival and was met with positive reception. With the genres of crime and drama given to the team a gritty, family oriented script was written in just one night. The end result was a tension filled rollercoaster with a shock ending that stunned the audience. Capital was made a finalist and was nominated for 'Best Use of Genre'.
